'Warwick Windsurf'

'This was the first website I ever designed, this is one of my favourite projects for that reason. I've learnt a lot since then'

'Balloon'

'Remember to look up in life'

'I got myself a new Wacom Tablet at one point, this was the first experimentation with it that I had. The balloon bubble has some additional effects thrown on top but the rest is straight use of the Wacom's pressure sensitivity to vary colour and some lucky brush choices.'

'Glebe FM'

'New school radio'

'A poster I put together for the school I'm working for to promote their Radiowaves page. Radiowaves is a site that facilitates pupils to blog their experiences at school in a safely moderated environment. Some framed images have been removed from the poster for privacy reasons (the reason for the large orange spaces).'

'Glebe School'

'Shiny logos'

'A re-vamp of Glebe School's logo for the new decade. This logo actually came about as part of the Glebe FM poster. I needed a modern looking logo element to fit in with the visuals of the poster. Entirely made in Inkscape.'

'Achievement Mountain'

'Helpful visuals'

'Finding personal motivation without recognition of your efforts can be difficult to find, especially for children. It can also be difficult for pupils in a school for children with SEN to properly communicate how well they think they are doing or where they are having problems. Within our school we came up with the Achievement Mountain concept which is being trialled now. I was happy to provide the graphics. '

'Team Players'

'May the best logo win'

'As part of the year 10s Leadership in Sports Award the pupils were split into 3 teams and asked to compete against each other. Each came up with their own team name and as we know: every decent sports team has a club logo. Voila.'

'Beachy'

'(Some) Fun in the sun'

'This spritely set of characters were all conceptualised on a holiday to Swanage in Dorset. They're mostly drawn in Inkscape and then textured subtly in Photoshop.'

'Surf stylé'

'This move is barely possible'

'I love surfing, i'd do it more often too if i didn't live in South East London. I was experimenting with vectors at the time and I love the artwork of Nick La from the Web Designer Wall and N.Design. Though I can?t hope to emulate his skill and artistic talent, Nick has a lot of oceanic creatures featured on his site, I think that's where the ocean theme crept into my head from.'

'Wooden man'

'Chipped emotions'

'This guy is inspired by some sculpture work of my Uncle's who won and award for the piece in the day and got himself in the local paper. The drawing remains un-finished at this point while I try and figure out the best way to digitise him and continue his journey. '

'Warwick Surf'

'Dude...pixels'

'I might have mentioned it before, I love surfing. This was the logo we used at Warwick Surf whilst I was on the Exec. For all the rules of graphics, colour theory and general good taste, if surfers are involved and you manage to get a V.W. Camper into your typography you're pretty much onto a winner.'

'Yakkers'

'Daisy munching'

'The Michigan Yakkers needed a logo for the Yak farm they were just starting up and this is my winning entry. If you don't know what Michigan looks like on a map, it looks a bit like that rock, sans daisy...or yak. From their website they seem to be doing very well.'

'Flash'

'Spiky things all around'

'A collection of the tattoos I designed as a kid. Totally wanted to get some of them at the time too.'

'Milk'

'RUUUUUUUUUUUN!'

'This little guy is from one of my favourite music videos. We were going to have him on a t-shirt at one point but alas, here he is still stuck in the cyber world.'
